Beginning in November 2020, this training cohort is designed to help equip and mentor worship leaders to excel and thrive in ministry.
The skills and requirements needed to be a capable worship leader are not limited to merely leading a band or playing an instrument beautifully.
We need leaders who have a strong foundation in the word of God and have the character and integrity to lead a life worth following.
Leaders who have a depth of intimacy with Christ that has been cultivated in the secret place, and who also have the leadership skills necessary to develop teams and raise up other leaders.
We need leaders of substance in a day where DIY spirituality is the norm.
That’s why we created this 6 month training cohort to help equip you and help you gain depth and understanding in these areas.
What is unique about US

This cohort meets online and is made with ministry leaders in mind.
You won’t have to fly out of state for this training. This cohort meets online via a video platform which allows you to stay invested in your local church and apply what you have been learning in your home context.
This cohort is relational.
The best learning takes place with like-minded people. This training is not an online webinar. It is a group designed for members to learn from one another and challenge one another to grow. You will thrive as you develop relationships with other leaders in your area.
Mentorship is built in.
Many online programs provide digital recordings for users to listen to. I have discovered in the last 20 years of my own development that proximity to a mentor matters. Can you learn from a recording? Absolutely! But being able to ask questions of someone with more experience about what you are currently facing is utterly priceless. Each meeting will leave room for discussion around what is happening in your ministry context and possible solutions.
Accountability and growth are priority #1.
This is not just information transfer, this cohort will provide support and accountability to help you set goals, and take action to accomplish what needs to happen in your own growth and ministry.
We Will Cover Subjects Like:
Theology of Worship
Practical Skills
And more!
Foundations of Worship
Character of a Worship Leader
Leadership and Pastoral Skills
YOUR INVESTMENT
Most worship leaders budget for and plan to attend one conference per year. The normal cost for a conference averages between $200-600 for a 1-3 day event. Plus the cost of round trip airfare, housing, transportation, meals etc.
You could also fly out of state for short term training which will cost thousands of dollars in extra costs for accommodations while traveling as well as finding coverage for services while you are away.
Or you could go the Bible College route. The average cost of an undergrad program in a private christian institution is $100,000 for both online and in person schooling. But a program like this doesn’t just cost you money, it also costs in time away from your primary ministry.
This six month cohort is $1,500. That’s $250 per month.
This fee includes:
2 Monthly Meetings 1.5 hours for training and Q+A
Access to a private facebook group where additional resources and ideas will be shared.
50% off the registration fee for Alaska Worship Summit 2021 a one-day worship training workshop for the entire team. ($75 value)
