Legend says that long ago peaceful giants inhabited the land of Alaska. Two young lovers love lit up the sky with great dancing lights and were tragically separated when the young man was sent off to war. Susitna, vowed to remain and wait for her warrior-love to return. “The Sleeping Lady” still remains, ever watchful, ever faithful. Legend says, when her warrior-love returns, she will wake up.
