Jagged and Iconic…

Gaze across the mountain range surrounding the Anchorage bowl and your eyes will be stopped by the sharp point of O’Malley Peak towering above it’s neighbors. The gentle slope of the baseball field at its base and it’s tri-pointed ridge line are both beautiful and, as any hiker will attest, compelling to climb. Not for the faint of heart or the unprepared, O’Malley peak is a challenging hike and an integral part of the “skyline” around Anchorage.
